A Little About Brown’s River Golf Course
Brown’s River Golf Course is a 6 hole, par 24, medium golf course located on the beautiful Brown’s River in Fairfax, Vermont.
The course has been in continuous, private, invitation only, and public play since 2001. We are a Private and public course with both unlimited private play and also public pass play. We are a low cost, low stress, learning/ playing, medium golf course with free rentals and reasonable cost beginner and advanced lessons available.
The course was built as a beginner’s learning/ experienced players short game course. Hole yardage on the course ranges from 50 – 125 yards. Our holes are all (non-regulation) Par 4’s so as to offer students the opportunity to play at Par, or get a Birdie, or even an Eagle. Players may play any hole number, or number of holes they wish. Three full rounds would be 18 holes, par 72. We say: “If you can play here,you can play anywhere”
Brown’s River offers a great learning experience environment as well as a challenging short game workout for the experienced player. In the past 20 years Brown’s River has sponsored and been host to many players and held local, to International Tournaments, and taught hundreds of guests how to play “The Greatest Game”
